Overview
Originally designed as an in-house product, MMS has undergone further development and optimization to evolve into a versatile solution suitable other businesses.
My role
As a UI/UX designer, my role was to revamp the Import/Export module.
The works
PLC
PLC stands for Port of Loading. It’s refers to the location where the goods are loaded onto the means of transport, such as a vessel, aircraft, or truck, for international trade.
The Port of Loading is an essential detail specified in shipping documents to indicate the starting point of the transportation process for the exported goods.
It helps in accurately tracking the movement and logistics of the cargo during the export process.
PLC - List
The current table design for listing does not separate the information, as all the important data is placed in a single column. Making it difficult for users to scan and compare the information or apply filters.
I have restructuring the table to organize data into separate columns, allowing for easier canning, comparison and filtering.
In additional, I implemented scroll behaviors to enhance the user experience. By fixing columns, users can effortlessly track important information while scrolling horizontally. Furthermore, the header row is now fixed, ensuring constant visibility of the name of each displayed data.
PLC - Detail
All the information was consolidated in one place without any sections or grouping, this layout making it difficult for users to quickly find the information they need.
To improve this, I conducted research to identify which pieces of information should be grouped together for better user accessibility and ease of navigation.
